Clear Dollar Digis Blog Hop!

Happy Lord's Day! I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday today! Thanks for joining me on our Clearly Digi Stamps blog hop today. Have you checked out the new store yet? So cool, don't you think? I love it! And all of our new stamp sets this month are so awesome, I had to use one for this blog hop! Our theme this month is flowers and if you are joining me from the CDS blog, you are on the right track. Yay!

I could not NOT use this awesome image from the Rubber Boots set illustrated by Laurie Wilson. It's so cute and easy to use, and it sure is that time of year where the rain brings beautiful flowers, leaves and birds singing in the trees! I love it. The colours in this were so much fun!

Now before you go off on the hop, be sure to leave me a comment because ONE lucky hopper will WIN this set! Isn't that awesome? Your next stop on the hop is Sarah's blog. I am glad I came before her because her stuff is always, always AMAZING! So go and see for yourself. And don't forget to check out the new store!

Have a wonderul day! Happy Hopping!

New from Clearly Digi Stamps!

Good morning! It's a beautiful day here. The sun is shining and the temperature is going up! I have some very exciting news to share with you today. Not only is it new digi day, it's also NEW STORE DAY! That's right! Clearly Digi Stamps has a new store which will allow you to purchase your digis, pay using Paypal, and automatically get your amazing digis! We're so excited about the new store!

The new store will have all of our old digis in it, as well as some new ones today! I am going to showcase two of my favourite sets on my blog today but of course there are so many other awesome sets you will have to visit the shop to see!

This first set is called Carnival Kids, illustrated by Deedee Anderson. I love this set so much, there are so many possibilites and it is so cute! I love the colours Deedee has used in the precoloured images and papers, so I have decided to use them on my card. I love how easy it is to layer images with digital stamps to create a fun scene. So much fun!

This second set is called Silly Slices, illustrated by Lisa Lara. I know Lisa is the queen of CAS cards, so I wanted to create something like hers. I have just used some of her papers and piled the images on top of each other. So simple - this card took me about five minutes and I have to say...I love it!

Aren't these fun? Don't forget to stop by the blog to get some more inspiration and see the rest of the new sets! The design team has been working very hard to create awesome new things! Also, along with the new store there will be some new freebies! So stay tuned and keep checking back when you can.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Nerds & Geeks

Happy Friday! Do you have anything exciting planned for this weekend? My husband has this weekend off so I am looking forward to spending some time with him and the boys. Friday means fun with Jellypark! We have two new releases this week and a NEW challenge as well! Fun, fun, fun!

I will start with the new releases. I have made a card with one of the new images, Geek and Proud. It is so fun! I made my card as non gendered as I could so it could be used for a boy or girl. I was thinking of Sheldon and Leonard from the tv show The Big Bang theory when I made it. (Funny show, terrible name).

The challenge this week is "Geeks and Nerds." I am sure that you can come up with something! I went a little outside of the box by using the teenage boy gaming stamp. It kind of reminded me of my younger brother, he does love to play his video games! He plays all kinds of them. Of course, my boys are just getting into the age where they enjoy playing games on the Wii - I am sure this will be them before too long!

Now, before you go off to do whatever it is you do, don't forget to check out all the amazing talent of the design team at the Jellypark blog. I especially love seeing what everyone does with the new releases - so crazy to think that something so different  comes from each and every one of us who all  use the same image! And of course, you can play along in our challenge this week as well!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a wonderful weekend!

Spotlight Stamp

Happy Friday! I have some exciting news to share with you. At Jellypark, we are showcasing the design team members favourite images over the next few weeks (on the off weeks that are not regularly scheduled with a challenge). The first design team member to choose their favourite image is actually me, so we're all making projects with this adorable stamp!

Every time I see this image it reminds me of the daughter of one of our pastors at church. She is this spunky little red head and she is just too cute. I decided to make this for her since she inspired it. I think it is just as cute as she is!

Don't forget to check out the Jellypark blog to see what the rest of the design team made with this fun image. And you have a week to enter into the ongoing girly challenge - so get crafting!

Have a great day!

Girly Bits

It is a beautiful Friday morning here and the sun is shining. My husband has the weekend off, so I am happy today! I wanted to share some new cards I made using the wonderful new images from Jellypark! This first card was made with the new release image. I do not do a lot of gardening because I can't get down on my hands and knees and garden, but I do love to water the flowers in the front of the house and I enjoy watering the garden after my boys have planted it each year. I love this little image - perfect, and just in time for gardening season!

This next card I made is for the Jellypark challenge - girly girl. Such an easy challenge, and a fun one for a mom to only boys! I used the princess for a day stamp, and I went a little crazy with the embellishments and the sparkles - but I love pink so I couldn't help myself, really!

I can't wait to see what you create with for this challenge - lots of fun girl cards! I hope you will play along in our challenge. It really is a lot of fun! Now I am off to make up some iced tea, it is supposed to be 21 degrees here this afternoon. I can't wait for the warm weather. The sun is already shining in on me!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

See You at the Beach

I'm back! I am getting used to my new computer - the new Windows 8. It's not behaving the way I want it to all the time, but it is better than not having anything at all, right? I wanted to share this cute little card that I made for the Whimsie Doodles wet challenge. I love Whimsie Doodles so much, they have so many sweet images and so many funny ones, too. Love it!

I love this little image - I am looking forward to many more days of going to the beach and going swimming. When it is really hot out, I don't really care if I don't have the perfect beach body...I just want to cool off. If only I could look as classy as this sweet thing! So cute.

Have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Oh, technology!

You may have noticed I have not been posting for awhile. I have been crafting my little heart out, but sadly, my computer has been on the fritz. I have had to buy a whole new one because, well...this was my last week and the week before that...

It was pretty frustrating to deal with! Just give me a few more days to get back on my feet. I ended up losing my hard drive, which I am going to send to my brother to see if he can recoup my photos and files...including all of my digital stamps! In the meantime, I am going to have to retake a lot of photos of my cards because I have nothing! *sigh* Technology can be a joy and also can be very frustrating. Moral of the story, BACK  UP YOUR STUFF! Online storage, flash drives, whatever. Do not be like me! Ahhh!

See you soon!
