Design Team Call

Teddy Stampers is a new challenge blog reopening on January 1st, 2010! This is a great spot for all who love to create with teddy bear stamps or digital images. We're looking to add three members to our design team, so if you love cute bears of all kinds, this could be for you!

DT members will be required to participate in all challenges and will also be responsible for creating their own challenge on a rotation. Challenges will be issued once every two weeks. All creations must include a stamped teddy bear image.

If you're interested in applying for a position for this team, please e-mail your application to:thebordenbunch@gmail.com and include the following:

1. Your name, address and phone number

2. A little bit about you and why you'd like to be a part of the team

3. Any design teams that you have had experience with (if you haven't been on one before, apply, this could be your first!)

4. Three projects featuring teddy stamps

5. A link to your online galleries

And that's it! The deadline to apply for is December 20, 2009. If you have any friends you think might be interested, feel free to pass this information along! We're looking forward to reviewing your applications and putting together our team!

Winter Love

I wanted to try out my other birthday stamp set, which is the Warm Winter Wishes set designed by Carolyn King for Gina K. Designs. I thought it was so cute and I had to have it. And it's for a good cause, because a percentage of the sales go towards the American Alzheimers Foundation. It is really versatile which is great!

Here is the card that I created using the Sunday Sketch & Stamp sketch. I created this card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge "winter love" but it also fits with the Everybody Art Challenge to make a Christmas themed card, and also with Creative Card Crew's favourite things theme, which of course, are my Annabelle Sprinkles!

Isn't that stamp cute? I love the way it turned out! I also used a Sakura glaze pen on the snowman to make them look icy. I like the way it turned out! Well, two posts in one day for me is more than enough, so I am off to play with the kiddos!

Happy Stamping!!

Sunshine's Stamps Spotlight

I am having printer issues this week so I wasn't able to participate in the dream team challenge this week, but if you check out my fellow teammates blogs, you will see lots of fun wintry cards! I didn't want to not post anything, though, so I whipped up this cute card since I had already printed and coloured the image. Just another really cute card for a boy!

This card was fun to make. I followed the Friday Sketchers sketch this week, and it also follows the Pink Elephant challenge and the Cute Card Thursday challenge. Yay!

If you like this little guy, you can purchase the digital image and many other great images at the Sunshine store.

Happy Stamping!

Annabelle Bling Sketch Challenge

Another week has flown by and it's time to play along with the Annabelle Bling Sketch Challenge again! With this week's sketch I used the Holly Branch stamp set - for the first time. I loved this sentiment and thought it would be fun to pair it up with some non traditional colours for a fun and funky Christmas card.

Here is the fabulous sketch for this week:

And here is my take on the sketch - I used some of the Olive and Blossom sprinkles on this to compliment the colours on my card.

Now that you've seen what I have created, be sure to check out what the rest of the Annabelle team has created!

That's a lot of awesome cards, isn't it? Remember you don't need to have Annabelle stamps to participate in these challenges. As long as you follow the sketch to the best of your ability and add a little bling, you're all set!

Happy Stamping!

Gina K. Designs Stamp TV Challenge Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Today we're hopping with Gina K. and our stamp TV friends!

We were challenged to create a project using one of the November releases or the Stamp TV Holiday Cheer kit. I have two of the new releases, since my birthday is in November, and I got to order whatever I wanted with my birthday money, yay! I chose to use the Winter Friends stamp set, since I could not resist the sweet snowmen! I loved pairing them up with this awesome Cosmo Cricket paper, Prima flowers, Making Memories snowflake brads, and of course, Annabelle sprinkles!

If you liked my card and want to see what others have created, hop over to Gina's blog to find the list of names of all participating so you'll know where to go next! I know you will be inspired by the many talented artists showcasing their Gina K. stamps!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

Sunshine's Spotlight

It's that time of week again to share with you some of my latest creations with Sunshine's Stamps! We were asked to choose a Christmas sentiment and then were sent an image to go along with it. I decided to create my image and sentiment seperately, so I have two cards to share with you today!

This first is with the sentiment I chose, Glory to God, because it's very meaningful to me. I wasn't quite sure what to do with the sentiment, and I am not entirely sure that this does the scripture justice, but here it is:

And then this second one I printed off three times, colouring each individually, cutting them all out and then layering them so that this pointsetta pops right off the card. It is hard to tell in this picture, though! Then I used some of my favourite Annabelle sprinkles in the corner and a sentiment to finish off the card.

There are lots of great Christmas stamps and sentiments in the Sunshine store - go have a look for yourself! I am off to do some cleaning. Tomorrow is my baby's second birthday and we're having a family get together so I need to bake a cake among other things. Off I go!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Annabelle Bling Sketch Challenge

Another week has come and gone, and we are that much closer to Christmas! I am feeling rather good about Christmas now since I've done more than half of my Christmas shopping and it's all wrapped and ready to go. That's always a good thing, right?

It's time again for the Annabelle Bling Sketch Challenge! We have had a lot of fun these past few weeks getting our challenge out there for all you wonderful crafters. Just a quick reminder that these challenges are not limited to Annabelle images, as long as you use bling on your project you are good to go! Also, at the end of the month there is a drawing for a prize for those who've participated in the challenges, which is always a nice treat if you win!

Here is the sketch provided by the lovely Andrea for this week:

And here is the card that I created. I wanted to use one of the new Christmas sets that I received but was having a hard time figuring it out for this challenge, so I created a card using the Jasmine's Garden set and some butterflies from the I Can Fly set. I love the colours on it, I thought it was a nice card to give to a good friend of mine who I just love and appreciate so much!

I hope you'll participate in the challenge this week, it is a great sketch! Also, don't forget that you have a few more days to enter the Annabelle blog candy. You are not going to want to miss out on this candy! You can win all of this, if you just enter here! You only have until November 22nd, so hurry on over!

That's all three of the newly relased stamp sets, as well as the new sprinkles! Let me tell you, the sprinkles are awesome already, but the mini sprinkles are fantastic because they come in handy for so many different projects!

Thanks for stopping by today. I can't wait to see what you create for the Annabelle challenge this week!
